‘बळीराजा’ हे चित्र भारतीय शेतकऱ्याला वाहिलेली एक कृतज्ञ मानवंदना आहे. देशाच्या अन्नसुरक्षेचा आणि ग्रामीण समृद्धीचा खरा आधारस्तंभ असलेल्या शेतकऱ्याचे सामर्थ्य, स्वाभिमान आणि आशावादी वृत्ती या चित्रातून व्यक्त करण्याचा माझा प्रयत्न आहे. संघर्षाची केवळ कथा सांगण्याऐवजी, प्रगतिशील शेतकऱ्याचा आत्मविश्वास, कर्तृत्व आणि शांत आशावाद अधोरेखित करण्याची माझी इच्छा होती.
